D-Check Developments, Inc. was established in July 1997 by Jeffrey Barkes, President.
Mr. Barkes has a total of 25 years experience with Air Canada and Northwest Airlines in aircraft heavy maintenance servicing a wide variety of air frames, ground support equipment and aircraft tooling. With the long career of aircraft heavy maintenance behind him, Mr. Barkes started D-Check Developments with the goal of manufacturing quality tools to better equip aircraft maintenance crews. Mr. Barkes now has over 40 years of experience in the aircraft maintenance industry and uses his past experiences in the field to inspire better design choices.
